Cobblers ready for difficult Leicester City test
The Foxes, fresh from a 3-0 defeat to moneybags French side Monaco on Saturday, will provide plenty of resistance for a Town team just four days away from the start of their season.

“I’m looking forward to Leicester,” said Boothroyd. “They’ll be the best team that we play and what they’ll bring is they’ll try to play out from the back.
“They’ve got good players who can hurt you so we’ve got to make sure we sort that out early on and exploit them.”
Boothroyd recently admitted the Cobblers weren’t yet ready for the start of the league campaign, and he sticks by that statement going into the Leicester game.

“We’ve still got a bit to do in terms of final preparations for the game and it’s a busy week before we start,” he said.
“We’ve got this game on Tuesday and we’ll make sure we get the most out of it but also keep people fresh for Saturday.
“All the squad will be involved and everybody will play.”
