The Bedford College Group celebrates five finalists at Northamptonshire awards
The Bedford College Group has lots to celebrate after all five of its entries were named as finalists at the Northamptonshire All Things Business and All Things Education Awards 2026.
The Group is in the running for awards recognising outstanding teaching, apprenticeships, and sustainability, with staff and projects across its colleges receiving recognition for their achievements.
Tresham College's Green Skills, Sustainability and Environmental Awareness Week has secured two nominations, making the shortlist for the Sustainability Award at the All Things Business Awards and the Environment and Sustainability Award at the All Things Education Awards.
The double nomination puts the spotlight on the colleges efforts to raise environmental awareness and encourage students and staff to think more about sustainability.
There is also individual success for Adrienn Rill, who is shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year at the All Things Business Awards.
Meanwhile, Duncan Loughton and Sally-Ann Philpott have been shortlisted for Maths Teacher of the Year and English Teacher of the Year at the All Things Education Awards, recognising their work in supporting students.
Robin Webber-Jones, Deputy CEO & Executive Director of Curriculum at The Bedford College Group, said: "To enter five awards and make the shortlist for every single one is a brilliant achievement, and we're really pleased for everyone involved.
"It's great to see such a mix of talent being recognised, from our teachers and apprentices to the team behind Tresham's sustainability week. There's a lot of hard work behind these nominations, and it's lovely to see that being recognised.
"We're keeping our fingers crossed for everyone and look forward to celebrating with them."
The Group will now join fellow finalists from across Northamptonshire as they wait to find out who will take home the awards.
