Cobblers unveil new claret home kit at Sixfields open day

Town launched the new strip as part of the family open day at Sixfields, and the clean-cut design is sure to go down well with supporters.

The home shirt is a plain claret shirt with a white v-neck and wide white piping down the sleeves, with white cuffs.

It is a simple design, and the full kit is rounded off with plain white shorts and claret socks.

The new Nike kit, which follows on from the popular Nike white and black away kit launched back in June, was not available for supporters to buy and take home at Sixfields on Saturday due to a problem with delivery, but it could be ordered.

And the bonus for anybody ordering a new home shirt at the open day is that they received a free Nike football with their order.

The club is promising delivery of the new shirts to the club shop by Friday, August 5 - the day before the opening match of the season against Fleetwood Town at Sixfields - and any ordered kits can be collected on that date.

Alternatively, orders can be mailed out.
