Tens of thousands of visitors are expected to attend the event from Saturday, September 12 to Sunday, September 13. It is organised by Friends of the Canal Museum and local villagers.

The award-winning event features an aerial flypast on each day, including a Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Living history groups and re-enactors will help bring wartime Britain to life. Tanks and military vehicles will be on display, and the local Northampton Home Guard and Army Cadet Force will be on parade.

To add to the atmosphere, visitors will have to run for cover when mock air raids take place. Troop inspections will also happen throughout the weekend.

Wartime foods will be on sale, tea will be sold in the village school, and the church will be the venue for a fashion parade.

Admission is £6 per adult, with free entry for under 16s. Parking in the event’s car parks is also included.
