HPMG attend events across the UK and in Europe displaying ex-police motorcycles.

Sometimes, the group is even asked to locate specific motorbikes or advise on them for TV and film work. HPMG aims to unite owners of such machines so that fellow enthusiasts and members of the public have the chance to see something unique and rare.

Alongside the HPMG exhibits, visitors will be able to explore the murky past of Northamptonshire’s criminals in the museum’s ‘Law and Order’ exhibition, which tells the story of how order was kept, and looks at the different types of punishments imposed on criminals in Northamptonshire from the early 1800s onwards.

Children can get involved in the exhibition by becoming a detective and searching for clues around the museum to solve The Missing Mayor Mystery. Through this game children will be able to learn about past and present roles of the town council, and the basic principles of democracy.
