GOSH, schoolchildren raised a lot for charity

Children at a village school marked the culmination of a fundraising drive by handing over their money to their chosen charity.

Pupils at Priors Marston School handed over a cheque for £1,869 to a representative of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) on Thursday last week.

The money was raised at a charity day at the school held in early June, with games and activities plus cakes and other treats for sale.

The money was handed over in a special assembly where the children heard about the hospital and the work it does.
