Johnston Press has launched a new national online entertainments website, WOW247.co.uk.

WOW247 will keep users up to date with what’s on where and what’s on when locally and across the UK, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

WOW247 allows people to search a database of more than 500,000 events across categories including film, music, theatre, food and drink.

It showcases events across the country and also allows users to set their location for a locally-focused experience.

Listings are complemented by eye-catching editorial and multimedia content.

People can also post comments, write a review and add their own events.
