Scores of Daventry residents took to social media as the distinctive sound of the low-flying Chinooks hummed across the district.

Many residents took to social media after spotting the iconic aircraft.

He said: "The Chinook was actually photographed flying low over Flecknoe."

The two Chinooks have been participating in a routine exercise.
