JASON Donovan stars in a camp extravaganza of a musical coming to Milton Keynes Theatre next week.
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant and Neighbours star appears in Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical, which starts on Monday, and is performed each day until Saturday, January 25.
It comes to the theatre direct from the West End and is touring until March.
The show is based on the movie Priscilla Queen of the Desert and is the heartwarming, uplifting adventure of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus.
They spend their time searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they had ever dreamed of.
The songs featured in the show include dancefloor classics including It’s Raining Men, I Will Survive, Hot Stuff, Finally, Boogie Wonderland, Go West, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, and I Love The Nightlife.
Donovan stars as Tick in the show but is best known for his role as Scott Robinson in the Australian soap opera Neighbours. He has also made an appearance on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.
In addition to his acting record-breaking solo recording career, in which he made over 13 million sales. His vocal career began in 1988 when he released Especially for You with Kylie Minogue and a debut solo album, Ten Good Reasons. Following the release of his second album in 1989, Jason became the biggest-selling UK and European artist.
He will be joined by Richard Grieve playing the part of Bernadette. He has been in Home and Away and Neighbours but more recently appeared as Jonny Foster in Emmerdale between 2007 and 2009.
