SS American beseiged by a motley crew of passengers sets the scene for this well known and much-loved Cole Porter musical.

‘Celebrity’ millionnaires and gangsters in disguise are among the guest list.

A lively script and score keep the show moving apace, complemented by the comedic genius of the cast, most notably from that of Nic Greenshields as Moonface Martin and Richard Kent as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh.

But it’s the tender moments too that captivate, none more so than between Hope Harcourt (Lorna Watt) and Billy Crocker (Matthew Goodgame).

Stand out performance though must be credited to Kara Lane who plays Reno Sweeney. Her stage presence continued to steal the show while it was her rendition of Blow, Gabriel, Blow which best showed off her - considerable - vocal talents. The warmth and wit of this show is positively infectious as it sweeps its audience up into a fun frenzy. Make sure you set sail for this incredible journey.
