THERE will be a truly international flavour to the latest show by the Braunston Players which will be performed at the end of the month.
Around The World will see the audience flown on Braunston Airways to see a wide variety of songs, sketches and drama.
This will be from a number of different parts of the world including France, Denmark, the Middle East, South America, North America before the audience return to good ol’ blighty.
Director Chris Grossartsaid: “It was an idea of one of our members David Finney who suggested we do something along these lines.
“We were originally going to call it Around the World in 80 Minutes but we thought the timings for the event might not be right.
“We were looking for something that we could do with the members that we have got and this was the perfect idea.
“Tickets for the show are selling fast so I hope people will book their tickets soon.”
Also performing will be the Eydon Players who present Figgy Pudding. It is a show which will see a Christmas meal served with a children’s pantomime and some sketches around the event.
Co-ordinator Mike Jackson said: “We were originally going to do a pantomime but we didn’t quite have the people to commit to the rehearsal period.
“We then had a look and came up with this.
“I think it has been nice because people have been able to do something different.”
Around The World will be performed at Braunston Village Hall from Wednesday, November 27 to Saturday, November 30 with the show starrting at 7.45pm each night.
Tickets are £6 and can be booked by calling 01788 891310. Money raised goes towards village hall funds.
