Primary school children and teenagers will be able to learn new cookery skills at a series of workshops later this month.
There will be three events are at Bay Tree Cottage in Farthingstone.
The first two will be a pasta and pesto workshop designed for primary school children. They will have the chance to make pasta in lots of different pasta shapes and then learning how to make their very own pesto.
There will be two seesions on Thursday August 28, the first running from 10am to noon and an afternoon session running from 2pm-4pm.
The following day, teenagers will have the chance to learn to make one of their favourite foods, pizza.
Tutor Carmela Hayes will start by showing visitors how to make pizza dough with various toppings, from baked peppers and cured meats.
She will also show how to make a regional variation called a calzone and a sweet pizza with Nutella and hazlenuts. This workshop will run from 10am to 2pm.
