Review: Winter Spice Day

Whittlebury Hall.

After attending the day spa at Whittlebury Hall for the Winter Spice Day I certainly feel very festive!

The staff on arrival where very helpful and gave us a fantastic tour.

The heat and ice experience is a perfect place to start the day, working your way through the individual rooms and eventually braving a bucket of ice cold water.

The hydrotherapy pool incorporates underwater and over water pressure jets creating a ‘jacuzzi’ effect aiming to provide therapeutic properties. The warm water helps relieve pain and induces muscle relaxation, great for any aches and pains!

The aromatic Whittlebury winter spice body ritual consists of a body scrub with a mulled wine scent which is warming and smells delicious, leaving the skin feeling so soft and smooth.

This is followed by a back massage on a heated bed which is relaxing and the therapist is great at explaining each step and ensuring the pressure is to your preference. This treatment really does warm you up, leaving you smelling great and really getting you in the mood for the festive season.

This perfect end to the day is followed up by a mulled wine or herbal tea infused with herbs and spices.

The treatment really is perfect for getting you in the Christmas mood and the mulled wine scent is particularly festive.

I would definitely recommend to book this treatment before the Christmas rush.
