QUEEN guitarist Brian May will be appearing alongside singing sensation Kerry Ellis in aid of charity.

The small intimate concert comes to the Royal and Derngate in Northampton.

They will perform an exceptional programme of acoustic music performed by candlelight with stripped down versions of Queen classics.

The concert is in aid of the Born Free Foundation. The charity works to protect and conserve threatened species particularly Africa’s magnificent Lions which are in serious decline across much the continent.

Brian said: “Although life has taken me into so many new areas recently, music is still what makes me tick – the greatest joy. And Ms Ellis is the perfect band member.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring this show to a wider audience. I’m already working on hardening up the finger ends!”

The Born Free Tour visits Northampton on Friday June 21 starting at 8pm.

Tickets are priced at £39, and can be booked by calling the box office on 01604 624811 or by visiting www.royalandderngate.co.uk
