Hollywood’s finest come to Daventry for cinema event

Nicole Kidman, Hugh Bonneville and Julie Walters can be seen at Daventry Country Park later this month.

They will appear on screen at the Daventry Family Cinema event coming to the park on Saturday July 25.

The trio appear alongside Jim Broadbent and Peter Capaldi in the Paddington movie, one of two films to be shown at the event.

The other is the animated hit The Boxtrolls and the story of Eggs, a human boy raised by trash-collecting trolls, as he attempts to save them from Archibald Snatcher, a pest exterminator.

There are two chances to see both films with Paddington to be shown at 11.30am followed by The Boxtrolls at 1.15pm.

The second round of the screenings starts with Paddington at 4pm with film rolling on The Boxtrolls at 5.15pm.

Entrance to the event is free and DACT buses are running from 10:30am starting at Lodge Road and going to the Country Park.

The event has been organised as the finale of Daventry Arts Festival which has been running throughout most of July.
