People are being asked to glam up for a night of dancing in Daventry.

Kate Fisher Dance Academy is running Strictly Daventry 2015 on Saturday, July 4, at Everyone Active Daventry Leisure Centre.

The charities to benefit this year are two local charities, Time2Talk and Danetre Hospital.

Each contestant will learn one latin and one ballroom dance which they will perform solo on the night, the audience will then vote to choose their winner.

Cassidy Little, the winner of BBC’s The People’s Strictly, will be one of the judges.

Local people competing this year are Detective Sergeant Samantha Bestwick, Danetre ward sister Emma Thomason, TV and radio financial pundit Paul Broadhead, teacher David Lomasney, Waitrose department manager Aaron Trevitt, Steve Hillidge from Kuehne-Nagel, Richard O’Keefe from Cummins, Paul Smith from Cleaner-Pave, and Spencer Freed, manager at The Cube Daventry and fitness coach.

The dancers partnering them, all trained by Kate Fisher from beginners, are Rhiannan White, Bethany Higginson, Courtney Thomas, Emily Allibone, Libby Kirk, Lottie Mann, Lucy Ashwell, Sheldon Kane and Xavier Young.

Tickets are available at £12.50 for adults and £6 for children under 16 from Kate Fisher Dance Academy on 077798 92508 or kate.fisher@kfda.co.uk
