There will be plenty of scary figures out and about in Crick later this month - but there will be nothing to be scared about.
The annual Crick Scarecrow Festival is to be held on July 11 and 12 with plenty to be seen throughout the village.
There is also to be a music festival taking place at the same time with something for everyone.
A jazz night is to be held to get people in the mood and a full festival which will include performances from local bans. Musicians from the area will also take part in some street busking.
In addition there will be plenty of opportunities for tea, cakes and barbecue and stall supporting good causes.
A spokesman for Crick Scarecrow Committee said: “This year the Scarecrow and Music festival committees have joined forces to ensure a fantastic weekend of entertainment. Whether you are out for a leisurely village stroll or enjoy live music , Crick is the place !”
