A MODERN farce will be coming to Rugby Theatre starting at the weekend.

The theatre’s own group will be performing Boeing Boeing, a comedy all about flying.

The show introduces Bernard who is a very lucky man. He has three girlfriends; all air stewardesses, and all thinking they are his one true love.

As Bernard succinctly puts it, he has “One up, one down and one pending!”

With the help of his sharp witted housekeeper Bertha, all runs smoothly until, during a visit from his old school friend Robert, each of his girlfriends transfer to the new (faster) Boeing aircraft. As their schedules and visits start to overlap comedy chaos ensues.

The original play by Marc Camoletti has been translated by Beverley Cross and Francis Evans. The director is Mark Tolchard.

Boeing Boeing will be performed from Saturday, February 8 to Saturday, February 15 with no performance on Sunday. Each show starts at 7pm.

Tickets for the show cost £11. For further details about Boeing Boeing or to book tickets in advance call the box office on 01788 541234 or visit www.rugbytheatre.co.uk.
