Hundreds of people are expected to flock to Daventry town centre later this month for the popular annual Mop Fair.
The event will run from Friday, September 19 to Sunday, September 21 at The Hollows and the old gas works car park.
A new ride for this year, the Star Flyer, will be joined by old favourites including the Orbiter, the Twister, the City Limits, waltzers and dodgems.
On the Saturday there will be live entertainment on stage on The Hollows from 1pm, featuring cartoon characters, singing, dancing and live music.
Organised by Muggeridge and Sons Fair with Daventry District Council (DDC), the Mop Fair will run from 6pm to 10pm on Friday, 10am to 10pm on Saturday and from noon to 6pm on the Sunday.
The old gas works car park will be closed from 5pm on Thursday, September 18 and will reopen Monday morning.
DDCs community, culture and leisure portfolio holder Cllr Alan Hills said: “The Mop Fair grows in popularity year on year and has become one of the town’s most anticipated annual events. It promises to be a great day out for all the family with lots of entertainment on offer, so I hope lots of people pay it a visit and have a fantastic time.”
