Lots of top musicians lined up for Braunston festival

A day of live music is coming to a pub in Braunston next month.

The Admiral Nelson Music Festival runs from noon to 11pm on Saturday August 6.

There will be music from the bands Got It Covered, Palace Pictures, The Furze, Are You Experienced?, The Counterfeit Stones, Stratification, Daisy Snelson, Attention Citizens and Ted Nilsson.

A spokesman for the organisers said: “We try to cater for all different tastes of music ranging from a resident Ibiza DJ to solo artists, local bands and tribute bands.

“UK No. 1 winner of the National Tribute Awards 2013 - Hats off to Led Zeppelin have now performed at 2 of our festivals. Other sets from Kings OV Leon, Fleetwood Bac and Guns 2 Roses have all received great responses from the crowd.”

In addition to the live music will be a wide range of family activities including Face painting, bouncy castles and other inflatables, human statues, lots of food stalls and outside bars, plus a fireworks display at the end of the event.

Tickets for the festival are still on sale and camping is available.
