Candlelit concert held by top folk duo comes to village hall

Blackheart will be playing candlelit village halls and come to the village as part of a UK tour.

Blackheart are multi-instrumentalists Chrissy Mostyn and Rick Pilkington. Their music has been described as “A heavenly fusion of acoustic folk, intelligent pop and classical music” by the BBC’s John Gilmore and “One of the best things to come out of England in recent years.” by Fatea Music Magazine.

They combine acoustic instruments and the voice of Chrissy Mostyn with piano, omnichord, electric percussion, electric mandola, bowed guitar and vintage synthesisers to create a new and very unique vision of contemporary folk music.
