An exhibition of historic quilts is to go on display at The Bramble Patch in Weedon.

The Antique and Vintage Quilt Heritage Day will take place at the West Street venue on Saturday, July 5 and is designed to be a day for lovers of old quilts.

Barbara Chainey and Jane Cobbett will display a collection of antique and vintage quilts.

They will also be available to date and view vintage or heirloom quilts.

A demonstration of traditional hand quilting techniques can be seen and a display of antique and vintage sewing and needlework tools.

There is also an exhibition from the Traditional Quilt Group of the Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles

Visitors can also add stitches to a special quilt currently being created and will be raffled off later in the year to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
