Alex Waller hailed the travelling Saints supporters for making the Stadio di Monigo a home away from home.
An army of Northampton fans backed their team as they clinched a crucial 38-15 Champions Cup victory at Treviso on Saturday afternoon.
More than a third of the crowd was made up of Saints supporters.
And Waller, who scored one of six tries in the bonus-point victory, was adamant the backing he and his team-mates received made a big difference.
“The travelling fans were great,” said the prop. “It was feeling like a home game at one point.
“The fans were very loud, very vocal and we really do appreciate all the support we get.
“You look into the crowd and it’s just a sea of green, black and gold and it makes a massive difference to the lads.
“We travelled over on the plane with a group of supporters and I don’t think there’s a club that does it as well as us - it’s credit to the fans.”
