David Ripley has confirmed that Seekkuge Prasanna will be available for the Steelbacks’ NatWest T20 Blast quarter-final against Middlesex on Tuesday night.
The Sri Lankan spinner has been influential in this season’s campaign, taking 10 wickets in nine appearances at an average of 23.70.
Prasanna missed five games due to commitments with his country during their one-day series against England.
And it was feared that the 31-year-old would be unavailable for next week’s last-eight tie at the County Ground.
But Ripley said: “He is available for the quarter-final.
“We were told he’d have to go back home, but we’ve got clearance and he’s available to play.”
