Southern League announces new sponsorship deal

THE Southern Football League has announced a new sponsor.

Evo-Stik (part of Bostik UK) is unveiled as their new sponsor from July 1.

This league say this will secure the required financial support for all clubs playing in the league’s three divisions for next season and beyond.

Daventry Town, Woodford United and Rugby Town all play in the league.

The league say the initial three-year sponsorship deal will see a greater focus on club development and community engagement within all three divisions, with the new sponsor keen to promote both club and league-wide initiatives.

Evo-Stik’s existing sponsorship of the Northern Premier Football League also unites northern and southern Non-League football in a way that has never been seen before.

Ken Turner, chairman of the Southern League, said; “All of the clubs in the league rely heavily on sponsorship and the financial support they receive from the league and its sponsors.

“In the current climate a new league sponsor is great news for us all and to have attracted a household name like Evo-Stik can only help us to drive our profile even further next season.”

Tony Davison, managing director of Bostik UK, said: “We are so excited about our sponsorship of the Southern League and working on new opportunities with the league and all of the clubs within it.”
