Saints boss Mallinder hoping Fisher and Tuala injuries are not serious

Jim Mallinder is keeping his fingers crossed that injuries sustained by Jon Fisher and Ahsee Tuala are not serious.

Both men limped off in the 20-12 defeat at Sandy Park on Sunday, with their departures disrupting Saints.

And when asked about their injuries after the game, Mallinder said: “Hopefully Jon’s okay. I’ve not actually had a proper word to see how he is.

“He was limping, as was ‘Ace’ Tuala, who had a hip injury, so fingers crossed they’ll be okay.”
