Saints confirm cancellation of clash with Cornish Pirates

Saints have confirmed the cancellation of their friendly fixture at Cornish Pirates.

Saints were due to travel to Mennaye Field in September

The game was due to be played at Mennaye Field on Friday, September 4.

But it can’t take place as Saints will be back in full-on action from August 16, bidding to reach the Gallagher Premiership grand final on October 24.

That means the next pre-season campaign has been moved back and consequently the fixture against Championship outfit Pirates has been called off.

Saints are still hopeful that they can rearrange the game for a later date, possibly in preparation for the 2021/22 season.
