'It feels really good' - Caqusau so happy to help Saints see off Tigers
Amena Caqusau was a happy man after helping Saints to beat Leicester Tigers 39-19 on Friday night.
The 22-year-old wing scored twice and was named player of the match in the hugely impressive PREM Rugby Cup success at DPD Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.

And Caqusau, who joined Saints from Glasgow Warriors during the summer of 2025, said: “It feels really good.
"We knew it was going to be a tough one.
"We had a good week of training and we knew they were going to bring a reaction after half-time so I'm just thankful that the boys stuck in.
"We knew playing against a team like that, that the most physical team was going to win the game.
"When we lost to them (in the Gallagher PREM) a couple of weeks ago, the boys kind of kept that in mind so it was good to get one over on them this time.
"I think the home crowd played a massive part for us.”
The Saints coaches offered chances for youngsters and other squad members to step up and make their mark against Tigers – and the players responded in grand fashion.
"It's massive, especially for us young boys,” Caqusau said.
"We had a rough start to the PRC block (Saints lost at Saracens and Harlequins in September) so we wanted to put out a better performance and thankfully the boys did that.
"We knew that if we stuck to our DNA we would come out on top.
"It's a good opportunity for the young boys who don't play week in, week out to show what they can do, and a lot of boys stepped up.”
When asked about being named TNT Sports player of the match, Caqusau said: “It's credit to the boys because they did all the hard work.
"I was just lucky enough to be on the end of it so I'm happy we got five points.
"It's a much-needed week off now and the boys deserve it.
"Then it's off to Newcastle (for another PREM Rugby Cup clash, on November 21) after that.”
