The 23-year-old won the players’ and supporters’ player of the year prizes as well as scooping best breakthrough player.

It was reward for a fine campaign for the back row forward, who was named in England’s 26-man training squad on Sunday.

Harrison made 27 appearances during the 2015/16 season, scoring four tries.

His performances helped Saints secure fifth place in the Aviva Premiership, ensuring they will be playing Champions Cup rugby next season.

Harry Mallinder has also played a key role, and his efforts have been recognised with the young player of the year award.

The 19-year-old, named in England’s squad for the World Rugby U20 Championships, which will take place in Manchester next month, made 15 appearances this season.

He scored a try on his Champions Cup debut, against Glasgow Warriors in January, and followed that up with another man of the match showing at Scarlets on the following weekend.

Mallinder has gone on to cement his place in the first-team squad and the 19-year-old’s contribution was enough to beat both Paul Hill and Tom Collins to the young player prize.

Ben Foden was also a winner as he claimed the try of the season award for his dramatic last-gasp effort in the victory at Harlequins in February.
