Jones, who named Harrison in his 26-man training squad on Sunday, says the back row forward has been ‘outstanding’ since Christmas.
Harrison claimed a hat-trick of awards at Saints’ end-of-season dinner on Monday night, earning the supporters’ and players’ player of the year gongs, as well as the best breakthrough player prize.
He has also been named Aviva Premiership player of the month for April after making more metres and breaks than any other forward in the league during the month.
And Jones told Sky Sports News: “Teimana Harrison has really come out of the woodwork at Northampton.
“He must have eaten something pretty good at Christmas because his play since then has been outstanding.”
