Adam Rossington has extended his loan deal at Northamptonshire until the end of August.
Since arriving at the County Ground from Middlesex at the start of July, the 21-year-old batsman has played a number of eye-catching innings including a matchwinning 82 against Gloucestershire in the Royal London Cup last weekend.
Speaking after signing his extension, Rossington commented: “I am delighted to be here for another month and am looking forward to helping the team get a few more victories during August.”
And head coach David Ripley added: “We are delighted that Adam has agreed to stay for another month.
“He has made a great impression in his short time here at Northants, as he has really added to our middle order, scoring runs in all three formats.
“I know Adam is hungry to add to that and we hope he can continue to do well for the club.”
