Adam Rossington’s side first visit the Ageas Bowl for a two-day fixture against Hampshire before returning to Wantage Road for their two other friendlies.

The first is an intra-squad clash on March 28 and 29 where all the Northants players will get the chance to impress, before Leicestershire nip across the county border on April 4 for another two-day match.

All three matches will be played behind-closed-doors as per the current Government Covid-19 guidelines.

The Northants players are currently training indoors at the Lynn Wilson Centre at the County Ground, and it will be hoped the Northampton weather will improve sufficiently in the coming days to allow the players to partake in outdoor practice.
