Alex Albon was fourth for the second Red Bull car as he survived yet another Turn 4 collision with Sergio Perez.
Lando Norris went from ninth to fifth on the last lap after capitalising on another incident between Daniel Ricciardo and Lance Stroll, while passing the battle weary Perez at the final corner.
Carlos Sainz Jnr was ninth but gained an extra point with the fastest lap of the race, and Daniil Kvyat rounded out the points in tenth.
