Boat fishing is still highly productive with anglers at Pitsford Water recording good catches of Rainbows mainly over 3lb in weight.
Brian Moore and Rob Layton boat fished bringing two bag limits to the scales by 2pm.
Pat Flynn and Brian Coleman managed 11 fish.
Anglers are taking fish in the evening when the breeze has eased. Among them were Pitsford warden Dave Rowe and his father, Stuart, who boat fished. Towards the evening fish were rising all around the main bowl and they each took a good bag.
Fish are slowly moving back to the narrows as they do when water temperatures cool at this time of year. Once back in the margins the bank fishing will take off again.
