RUGBY Road Cycling Club’s 25-mile time trial attracted a field of 37 riders.
Conditions on the course, based near Princethorpe, were far from ideal with rain falling continuously.
Stand out performance of the night was that of a 15-year-old Ryan Kenworthy from Daventry.
He blitzed his way around the 25 miles in a time of one hour two minutes and 16 seconds to beat all but eight of the seniors.
Two weeks prior to the 25 Ryan also excelled in the 10-mile time trial, covering the Daventry to Dunchurch and back course in 23 minutes and 40 seconds.
Also competing that night were husband and wife team of Mike and Marina Bloom who stormed around the 10 miles on a tandem in a time of 23 minutes 14 seconds.
