KINGSTHORPE “A” losing 6-0 to West End “A” could have cost them the league championship in the Northampton Triples League.
But Kingsthorpe have to play Whyte Melville “A” who are presently bottom of the division so this could be their saving grace.
West End have to play Bugbrooke so although West End are five points ahead at present Kingsthorpe should not yet be written off at becoming league champions.
In Division Two, it is very close at the top of the table with only five points separating top place from third.
West Haddon will be relegated this year but who will be their relegation partners will be decided over the next two games between Express “B”, Kingsthorpe “B” and Byfield.
Earls Barton and Heyford look all set to go up into division three, Daventry Town “B” will definitely be seen in Division Four but again it is a toss up between Kislingbury “A”, Harpole “A” and Cogenhoe as to who will accompany them.
Not surprisingly new boys Desborough and in all expectation Kislingbury “B” will be promoted to Division Three with Wootton ‘B’ holding the league wooden spoon for 2011.
