BOWLS: Daventry on right track as they sink British Rail

Daventry Town took a mixed team to the British Rail bowls club in Rugby on Thursday and claimed an excellent 73-56 victory.

Captain-on the-day, Mike Robins presented, Ivy Cook, David Cooke and Peter Braybrook, with the highest winning rink award.

Bilton exact sweet revenge on mixed

A Mixed Daventry team travelled to Bilton on Saturday.

Having won the first leg at Daventry, Bilton were out for revenge and got a 108-70 win.

The Daventry B Team travelled to Carlsberg bowls club in Northampton on Monday and lost 50-33.
