DAVENTRY Town “A” suffered their first loss of the season in the Monday night triples league against a good Abington “B” team.
Although the game was well poised with only two ends to play and the overall score standing at 51–49 in favour of Daventry Town, Daventry lost the last two ends over the four rinks 10–3 contributing to the final score of 54–59.

Daventry Town “B” had a successful evening at Heyford B.C. securing their first win of the season in a closely-fought encounter.
With just two ends left to play Daventry were 48-53 behind but worked hard to win the last two ends over the four rinks 8–2, coming away with a 56–55 win.
