Former Saints forward Dolan signs for Cardiff Blues

Cardiff Blues have confirmed the signing of former Saints No.8 Cam Dolan.

The USA international moved to Northampton last summer, but failed to break into the first team.

He made just one first-team appearance for the club, starting in the LV= Cup defeat at Leicester Tigers in January.

And he was left to seek pastures new at the conclusion of the campaign, opting to join Guinness PRO12 side Cardiff.

Following his departure from Saints, Dolan tweeted: “It’s been a fun ride Northampton, but it’s time for me to embark on the next chapter of my life. Thanks for everything Saints family.”
