The woe continued for Woodford United on Tuesday night as they were beaten 7-0 at Aylesbury in the Evo-Stik League Division One Central.
Paul Oddy’s men beat the freezing weather, but suffered their 33rd league defeat in 33.
The Reds have now conceded an incredible 140 league goals this season, while scoring just 16.
The defeat on Tuesday was the third time in the past seven games they have let in seven, and the result comes just a week after they were hammered 10-0 by Biggleswade.
They have lost their past three fixtures an aggregate 24-0!
Amazingly, Woodford are not yet relegated as they trail second-from-bottom North Greenford by 11 points and still have nine games to play,
Against Aylesbury, Woodford were only 2-0 down at the half-time break, but they collapsed under a barrage of goals in the second half.
Oddy’s team are back in action this Saturday when they travel to Ashford Town, and then on Monday it’s the big derby date with Daventry Town at Byfield Road.
