DAVENTRY Town Ladies FC moved in to the East Midlands League Cup quarter final with a strong 5-4 win over Lincoln Development.
Still reeling from a disappointing exit from the FA Cup a week before, Daventry were slow out of the blocks and found themselves 2-0 down after 15 minutes.
Kerry Luckett scored midway through the first-half as the Town began to move through the gears.
They were unlucky not to be level at the break.
The second-half started strongly for the Town with Erika Mole finishing off a strong solo run to equalise.
From then on Daventry scored three more through Luckett, finishing with four goals.
The Town looked comfortable at 5-2 but two quick goals in the last five minutes from Lincoln created a nervous finish as Daventry seemed to lose concentration.
