LONG BUCKBY boss Glenn Botterill saw his talented side continue their superb start to the season with another win.
The Station Road outfit sealed a 2-1 victory over Deeping Rangers on Saturday to add more points to their league total.
The Bucks went into an early and deserved lead thanks to an impressive strike from Fazel Koriya in the 23rd minute.
But the home side’s joy was short-lived as they conceded a penalty after the ball struck a Buckby player’s arm.
Tony Battersby found the back of the net from the spot kick to level the scores after 37 minutes.
But Buckby refused to let their confidence slip and scored another goal just before the half-time whistle.
After a superb move featuring Josh Davis, Richard Allen headed the ball into the back of the net to put the half-time score 2-1 in Buckby’s favour.
“To be fair they put us under a lot of pressure in the second-half but we were comfortable,” said Botterill.
