Boca Seniors were crowned champions of the Thursday League with a late Ian Waldock strike.
DGFC were top going into the game on goal difference knowing a draw would be enough for them to lift the title.
The game was a tight encounter with both teams creating chances but both keepers making good saves and both teams hitting the woodwork.
Waldock’s low drive past an impressive Craig Waugh in DGFC’s goal was enough to seal a 1-0 victory and take the title.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels finished in third place after a 3-1 victory against Forgone Conclusion. Scott Jones, Kyle Young and Adam Creaney sealed the victory. Forgone replied through a fine Blair Girvin strike.
Supporting Lisbons were 9-0 winners against Black Knights. Paul Beevor and Alex Kibblewhite both hit trebles, Robbie Farrell, Chris Trill and Tony Burkett all also netting.
Millwall finished the season well with a 7-2 win against RYN Persie. The league’s top scorer Dan Renshaw found the net four times, Ryan Waldock a double and Matt Goode sealed the win.
Dylan Jones and Ben Winterbourn found the net for RYN Persie. Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels were 3-0 winners against Olympiacos. James Moore, Scott Jones and Jake Sanderson all scored.
Tom is the Spark as Inter sink Nelson
Inter ran out 4-1 winners against Admiral Nelson in the Sunday League.
Tom Sparks was in inspired form opening the scoring early on and adding the second early in the second half. Sam Birtwistle and Tom Batchelar completed Inter’s scoring. Nelson replied through a screamer of a free kick from Lee James.
Leaders Boca Seniors and second place Saxons Sevens couldn’t be separated after a 1-1 draw. Jake Sanderson’s ball into the box eluded everyone and crept in at the far post. A late Ian Waldock goal levelled things up.
FCG took advantage and went top thanks to a 5-1 victory against Dankburn Rovers. Tom Freezer and Dan Smith led the way with a double apiece and Liam Fullard completed the scoring. Liam Kenny netted for Rovers.
Puyol Pantsdown were 4-2 winners against Birmingham Pity. Danny Harris and Tom Hallet were the match winners with a brace apiece. Olimpic Daventry remain unbeaten after a 6-3 victory against Murder on Zidanes Floor. Pavel Hruby led the way with four goals, Vadim Vlas and Tomasz Boczarski sealed the win. Dan Wilkes hit a double and Dan Clarke also found the net for Floor.
Six-hitter Day is on fire for Pity
Birmingham Pity sealed their first win of the season after a 8-6 thrilled against Bayer Neverlosen in the Five-a-side Monday Football League at the Daventry Sports Park.
Lewis Day took the plaudits with six goals, Ryan Goodman’s double sealed the points.
Bayer’s goals coming from in form Liam Fuller’s hat-trick, a Jordan Shingler brace and Josh Bosworth.
M.City were 9-3 winners against a in form FC Davcelona side.
Dylan Jones led the way with six goals to make him the leagues top scorer, Blair Girvin hit a brace and Joe Hasset completed City’s scoring. Kuba Kusija, Marcin Chmielewski and Tomasz Wasowski were all on target for Davcelona.
Inter remain top of the table after a 11-3 victory against KFC Wimbledon.
Tomasz Zelichowski led the way with a four goal haul.
Craig Hyde hit a treble, Tom Spark a double, Robbie Smith and Josh Hyams completed Inter’s scoring.
Joe Osbourne hit two fine long range strikes and Jamie Davies got himself on the scoresheet for Wimbledon.
