Saxons Sevens were crowned Sunday League champions after a 0-0 draw with second placed Olimpic Daventry.
With Saxons one point ahead prior to kick off both teams could still win the title.
The game was a end-to-end battle between two good sides, both goalkeeper’s Olimpic’s Justin Cerga and Saxon’s Josh Davis were in inspired form.
Davis’s last-minute acrobatic save earnt himself the man of the match accolade and Saxons the league title.
Dankburn Rovers were 2-0 winners against Rapid Vienna. Liam Kenny and Dermot Percell were the match winners.
Forgone Conclusion were 8-0 winners against Birmingham Pity. Ryan Swann led the way with five goals, Blair Girvin hit a brace and Jake Hyams completed the scoring.
Boca Seniors were 5-2 winners against Rapid Viagra. Jamie Sedgley, Ian Waldock, James Taylor, Matt Payne and Josh Payne all found the net for Boca. Danny Harris and Arron Carter replied.
LMA finished third after a 3-2 victory against Dankburn Rovers. Leigh Roberts scored twice and Sam Burke the other, with Liam Kenny and Dermot Percell replying.
Boca Seniors and Admiral Nelson drew 1-1.
Ben Hallett finished superbly to put the Nelson a goal up but a Darren Taylor strike levelled things up. Murder on Zidanes floor finished the season in style with a 5-0 win against Admiral Nelson.
Dan Wilkes scored four and Richard Rogers was also on target.
In the Monday Fives League, second-placed Hardcore Elite were 2-0 winners against Notin’ Forest. Martin Fincham put Elite a goal to the good at half time. With the game finely poised at 1-0 and could have gone either way and Nick Hammond strike secured the points.
League leaders Inter ran out 16-4 winners against Arsene Vaders. Tomasz Zelichowski led the way with five goals, Josh Hyams hit four, Craig Hyde a hat-trick, Robbie a Smith a double and Tom Sparks also found the net with a long range drive.
Vaders replied through a Alex Stampolakis double, Jake Woodman and the leagues leading scorer Josh Bosworth.
Black Knights were 12-3 winners against Notin’ Forest. Nat Miller found the net six times, Arron Carter hit four goals, Jake Hyams and Scott Creaney also found the net. Forest replied through a fine Johnny Allaway double and the goal of the night was Joe Osborne’s solo effort.
