SOCCER SEVENS: Pow! Treesdown see off Spartak

Ajax’s match winning goals coming through a Ashley Pow double and a powerful Scott Creaney drive.

Sam Birtwistle and James Frost got Spartak back in the game but Ajax held on for the three points.

Daventry Ducks went top of the table thanks to a 5-1 victory against Mushroom Tips.

Adam Confue and Frank Maher both hit doubles and Ryan Waldock also found the net. Alex O’Conner was on target for Mushroom Tips. FC Davcelona and Wii Not Fit played out an end to end 1-1 draw.

LMA were shock winners against champions Olimpic Daventry with a 3-2 victory.

Jamie Sedgley put LMA a goal to the good only for last season’s player of the season Pavel Hruby to equalise from a tight angle.

LMA started the second half in top gear scoring two quick goals through Josh Hyams and Anthony Hyams.

Olimpic pulled a goal back thought Richard Rogers but LMA defended we and held into the three points.
