Ryn Persie were narrow 1-0 winners against Black Knights in the Thursday League.
Ricky Jones was the match winner for his team for the second time in as many weeks with the game’s only goal.
Millwall were 8-0 winners against LMA. Dan Renshaw led the way with a treble, Thomas Murfitt hit a double, Nick Saker, Ryan Waldock and Craig Hyde all found the net also. The League’s top two teams DGFC and Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw. William Connell and Darren a Taylor were both on target for DGFC.
A Jake Sanderson double levelled things up. Supporting Lisbon’s were 5-1 winners against Olympiacos. The leagues top scorer Phil Richardson hit a double, whilst singles coming from Chris Trill, Alex Kibbkewhite and Matt Farrell. Liam Meadows finished well to pull a goal back for Olympiacos.
Hyams hat-trick the difference for LMA
LMA came out on top in the top of the table clash against Admiral Nelson with a 4-1 win.
Josh Hyams led the way hitting a treble, Gaz Parry completed LMA’s scoring. Paul Matthews continued his fine form in front of goal scoring again for the Nelson.
Saxons Sevens were 6-2 victors against Inter. Jake Sanderson and Scott Creaney fired doubles and the other two goals were own goals. Joe Corney replied for Inter with a fine volley and Sam Birtwistle also hit the net.
Forgone Conclusion put in a fine display beating in form Boca Seniors 3-2. Dan Ponder found the net direct from a corner, Jordan Hamer and Ryan Swann sealed the win. Josh Payne and Jamie Sedgley replied for Boca. Olimpic Daventry went second in the table after a 6-1 win against Rapid Vienna. Vadim Vlas weighed in with a treble. Pavel Hruby a double and Dan Wilkes completed Olimpics scoring. Danny Harris replied.
Elite secure win in 12-goal thriller
Hardcore Elite remain second in the table after a 7-5 win against Bunfica.
Chris Grimley fired a hat-trick. Nick Hammond a double, Lee James and Ben Hallet also found the net. Lewis Chilton hit a four goal haul, Alex Abraham was also on target for Bunfica.
Arsene Vaders were 7-2 winners against Notin’ Forest. The league’s leading scorer Josh Bosworth weighed in with five goals, Alex Stampolakis and Liam Meadows were also on target. Richard Mansell netted twice for Forest while goalkeeper Johnny Allaway was in inspirational form with a string of saves.
The game of the season so far featured the bottom side Black Knights against top of the table Inter. Nat Miller put the Knights 3-1 up with a treble whilst Inter’s goal came from goalkeeper Curtly Street. Robbie Smith and Craig Hyde equalised in the final minutes and then Josh Hyams stole the victory for Inter with virtually the last kick. A notable performance from Kurt Baker in the Knights’ goal who was unfortunate to be on the losing side.
