Westley delighted as Stevenage see off Cobblers
Second-half goals from Chris Whelpdale and Simon Walton secured a 2-1 win for the home side, after they had gone in 1-0 down at half-time.
“It was a great test of character, and I felt we played very well in the first half,” said Westley.

“I thought we played into Northampton’s hands a little bit, but a lot of what we did was very good.
“We did miss a couple of great chances, but I thought we could have done more to hurt them.
“We conceded a very sloppy goal, and we found ourselves 1-0 down at half-time when I felt we deserved a lot better.

“We had a real desire and determination to go and get the points, and it was great to get the second half goals to bring back the points.
“We were patient, we were resilient, and we changed out play slightly and moved one or two positions around, and in the end we managed to break Northampton open which was pleasing.”
