Northampton Town sign ex-Chelsea youngster from Brentford

The 20-year-old has spent time in the youth academies at both Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers and has made two first-team appearances for the Bees.

Oyeleke can also operate as a full back and will be added to the squad for Tuesday night’s trip to Gillingham.

“I have watched Manny play a number of times and he will add to our squad,” said manager Aidy Boothroyd.

“He is a strong, athletic, combative midfield player who can play anywhere across the midfield or at full back.

“He is here to challenge for and compete for a first team place and to gain experience. I think we can help Manny and I know he can help us.”
