Northampton Town confirm friendly against Stoke City development squad

Northampton Town have added a sixth friendly match to their warm-up schedule, against the Stoke City development squad a week on Saturday.

Town will play host to the Stoke youngsters on Saturday, July 27, with a 3pm kick-off.

Aidy Boothroyd’s men played the first of their six practice matches, at United Counties League side Sileby Rangers, on Saturday.

They play Cogenhoe United away on Tuesday night (July 16), and travel to Corby Town on Wednesday July 24.

As well as the Stoke develeopment squad, Town play host to Peterborough (July 20) and Leicester City (July 30).
