Nicholls: ‘The occasion got the better of us’ at Wembley
Cobblers goalkeeper Lee Nicholls admitted the occasion got the better of the team in yesterday’s defeat to Bradford in the League Two play off final.
The on loan keeper admitted the team looked nervous and didn’t start the game properly, conceding it was “not their day”.
However, he paid tribute to his fellow players for “giving it their all” after the third goal went in.
